About Nucite Solutions

Nucite Solutions was established in 2002 as the umbrella company for the web sites owned by the president, Jeff Meyer. Jeff had been developing PHP applications as a freelance software engineer for a small handful of clients around the burst of the big tech bubble at the turn of the century. When IT funding began to plateau, Jeff began seeking new opportunities and decided to appeal to a much larger market - the eBay seller community. The demand to move away from a freelance services provider into a global solutions provider quickly came into focus. Jeff, with the help of countless other professionals, grew Nucite Solutions into a rich suite of online sites and services.

Today, Nucite Solutions owns and operates a far-reaching network of web sites across a wide variety of verticals. We have catered to the web based needs of small clients, large organizations and many businesses in between.

As an attempt to leverage our knowledge of the Internet, coupled with a strong foothold in the open source development community, we've decided to advertise our development capabilities to local businesses. Rather than building new online properties, we're slowing growing and focusing on existing ones. During this phase, we're very interested to learn more about the businesses near the Chicago area and how we may be able to help them achieve success online.

Until mid-2011, we've made use of a telecommuting development team. Now, we're aggressively hiring local web pros to grow this new facet of our business and enhance our local services.
